Leonard James Caviness, 75 of Hillsville, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Caviness is survived by his wife Christine Caviness of the home; sister & brother-in-law Josephine & Rafus Walls of Hillsville; special nephew Jerry M. Caviness and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with the Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
