Leon Welcher Dalton, 56 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Waddell Nursing Home. Mr. Dalton was preceded in death by his father Welcher Vaughn Dalton. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Wesley and Lisa Dalton of Hillsville; mother Helen Thomas Dalton of Hillsville; brother and sister-in-law Ronnie and Connie Dalton of Marion; sister Lois Cyr of Hillsville; three grandchildren; two step- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Norman Goad officiating. Burial will be in the Branscome Cemetery on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 one hour prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
