Survivors include his wife, Bertha Burkholder; children, Rindell, Jeryl, Darren, Katina, Trevor, and Bradley all at home; his mother, Fern Burkholder; six brothers; and three sisters

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Victory Way Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Richie Lauer, Shawn Beachy, and Rolin Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Island Creek Mennonite Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Island Creek Mennonite Church on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
