Lelia Maxine Felts 72 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, She was preceded in death by her husband, William Benny "W.B." Felts; two sons Jerry Wayne Felts, and Perry Allen Felts; parents, Clayton and Belva Hall Sumner. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-laws, Phyllis and Morgan Towe of Cana, Debra and Jackie Felts of Fancy Gap, Vicki and Danny Alderman of Galax, and Donna and Marshall Moore of Roanoke; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Debbie Sumner of Barren Springs; sisters and brother-in-law, Bonnie Hawks Galax, Wilma Dalton, Indian Valley, and Ima and Steve Morris of Mt. Airy, NC; seven grandchildren and spouses, Holly Felts, Taylor and Daniel Jarvis, Matthew Alderman, Josh Alderman, Kelly and Justin Faulconer, Katherine Wright, and Kristen Wright; one great grandson, Thomas Richard Scott; one great granddaughter, Madison Faulconer; best friend, Betty Jenkins. A host of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Dewey Felts and Elder Carlton Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Independence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Felts family.
