Leece Mae Alexander, 83 of Max Meadows, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on May 20, 1938 in Pulaski County to the late Sam and Annie Nichols Jennings. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Conrad Olof Alexander and a grandson, Anthony Alexander.

Leece is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Sharon Alexander of Hillsville and Tony and Sue Alexander of Max Meadows; grandsons, Derek Alexander and wife, Katie of Max Meadows and Matt Alexander and wife, Sarah of North Carolina; great-grandsons, Casen Alexander of Max Meadows and Chance Alexander of Hillsville; brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Linda Jennings; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Clayborne Alexander; and several special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor David Bays officiating. Burial will follow in the Alexander Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
