Ledford Franklin Hiatt, 82 of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mr. Hiatt was born in Carroll County to the late Clarence Franklin and Stella Mae Culler Hiatt.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers Fred Hiatt, Sanford Hiatt, McElroy Hiatt, and Jerry Hiatt; and great-granddaughter, Alaina Warf.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years 3 weeks, Dianah Ogle; children Suzi Hiatt (Gail), Missy Alexander (Alan), Beth Moss (Wes), and Jenifer Bowman (Greg); sisters, Dr. Hazel Jessee and Vanessa Mascia; grandchildren, Stella, Janisa, Lacey, Meagen, Lyndsey, Taylor, Emily, Gage, Cash, Warren, Sammy, and Chelsea; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
