Lawrence Edward Nichols, 81 of Allisonia, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Lewis Gale Pulaski Medical Center. Mr. Nichols was born in Pulaski, Virginia to the late Lisco and Ruby Lucy Catherine Spence Nichols. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Owens.

Survivors include his wife, Linda M. Nichols; daughter and son-in-law, Saprina Lee and Ronald David Dean; grandchildren, Amelia Lee Dean and Adam David Dean; sisters, Nancy King, Bonnie Reynolds, and Pearl Whitaker; brother, Lisco Junior Nichols; several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Max Doty officiating. Burial will follow in the Dry Pond Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Grover King Post 1115. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
