Laura Mae Trivett, 75 of Hillsville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. Ms. Trivett was born in Bristol, VA to the late James Duncan and Minnie Whicker Trivett. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne Trivett, Richard Trivett, James Leon Trivett, Billy Trivett, and Harold Trivett; and a sister, Doris Ann Jones.

Survivors include her sisters Marie Trivett Peltier, Joan Trivett Jones, and Peggy Trivett Farmer; brother, Alfred Trivett; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Laura's wonderful caregivers in the Hillsville area for all of their compassion and care in taking care of Laura.

A funeral service with burial following will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
