Laura Snow Nichols, 90 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Nichols was born in Carroll County to the late Thomas Lawrence & Rosetta Dalton Snow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wesley Nichols. She is survived by her daughter Gloria Milburn of Hillsville; three grandchildren Betsy Milburn-Town & husband Mike, Naomi Bowers, and Rebekah Aldrich & husband Kevin; four great grandchildren Benjamin, Kellen, Grace and Thee Milburn-Town; and sisters Ella Hanks of Galax and Margie Dalton of Hiwassee.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at the Hillsville First Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Dr. Lawrence Childs officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Wednesday night from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
