Laura Jean Biggs, 64 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 at Carrington Place in Wytheville. Mrs. Biggs was born in North Carolina to the late Charlie and Clara Hoosier Woodall. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by siblings, Mary Crowder, James Henry Sayers, Estele Jackson Sayers, Fred Allen Sayers, and Newgean Sayers.

Survivors include her husband, John David Biggs; brother and sister-in-law, Isaac and Jessica Sayers; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her adopted daddy, Dale Akers.

A graveside service with burial will be Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Full Gospel Cemetery at 10:00 AM with Rev. Dale Akers officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
