Lary Walker Caldwell, 53 of Wytheville, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025 at his home.  Mr. Caldwell was born in Blacksburg, Virginia to the late Iven D. and Norma Smith Caldwell.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Raymond Caldwell and Andy Caldwell.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbi Caldwell; children, Adrian R. Franklin, Shawn Austin Franklin and Nicholas A. Franklin; brothers, Bruce Caldwell (Teresa), Leon Caldwell (Terry), Dail Caldwell and Jason Caldwell; sister-in-law, Donna Caldwell; brother-in-law, Andrew Tinson; and several nieces and nephews.

Lary was a member of Crossroads Chapel Church in Austinville, Virginia.  The family would like to express a special thank you to Debbie, Kristine, Stephanie, Vicky, Marsha and Wythe County Hospice.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Larry Cline officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the memorial service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
