Larry Dean Webb, 60 of Hillsville, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 1, 2014. Mr. Webb was born in Galax, VA to the late Clayton and Vera Alderman Webb. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Elmo Webb. Survivors include his sisters and brothers-in-law, Vesta Lea and Walter H. McGrady of Hillsville, Betty Lou and Emmett Meredith of Fancy Gap, Reva Evelyn and Foy Banks of Hillsville, and Nancy Carol and Keith Grubb of Hillsville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Olen Duane Webb of Hillsville, Coy Delton and Gillian Webb of Hillsville, Damon Clayton and Joyce Webb of Archdale, NC, and Kenneth Wise and Yvonne Webb of Hillsville; and sister-in-law, Mary June Webb. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bobby Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the John P. Webb Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, prior to the funeral service. The family says that flowers would be appreciated; however, donations may be made to the John P. Webb Cemetery Trust Fund, c/o Joseph McGrady at McGrady Law Office P.O. 605 Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
