Larry W. Stanley, 69 of Woodlawn, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at his home. Mr. Stanley was born in Surry County, NC to the late Romas and Mable Baldwin Stanley. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tamara Blalock.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia W. Stanley of the home; daughter, Tammy Nichols and Dwayne Blalock of Woodlawn; son, Greg Willard of Woodlawn; several brothers and sisters; and grandchildren, Brandon Nichols, Justin Willard, Cesilee Lineberry, Hunter Nichols, Kaitlyn Willard, Ariana Blalock, Zaria Blalock, Jade Blalock, and Jackson Blalock.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Pastor Kirk Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 until 1:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
