Larry Paul Hill, 74 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at his home.  Mr. Hill was born September 22, 1951 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Ferd and Elsie Combs Hill.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Faye Hill; his sister and brother-in-law, Emma Jean and Waltrude Slusher; and a niece, Donna Slusher Akers.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Hill; children, Justin (Crystal) Hill and Trent (Lita) Hill; grandchildren, Ava Ruth Hill, Sadie Jarrells, and  John Gates; sister-in-law, Cheryl (Daniel) Cronk; brother-in-law, Keith (Kristy) Bowman; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with inurnment will be held at Rome Cemetery on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM.  Flowers are appreciated; however, memorial donations can be made to Rome Church Cemetery Fund c/o James Largen, 188 Volunteer Road, Hillsville, VA 24343 or Mt. Lebanon Cemetery c/o Russell Branscome 36 Quail Ridge Ct. Galax, VA 24333.  The family is especially appreciative of the care provided by Medi Hospice. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
