Kevin Michael Southern, 30 of Hillsville passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010. He is survived by his father Charles Michael Southern of Austinville; mother Debra Lynn Stoots of Hillsville; brother Brian Mitchell Southern of Stokesdale, NC; maternal grandmother Frances Stoots of Hillsville; paternal grandmother Shirley Southern of Austinville; three aunts Nancy Humphreys of Wytheville, Janice Gardner of Lynchburg, and Kathy Hawks of Mount Airy, NC; and cousin Cameron Lineback of Mount Airy, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 4:30 PM with Pastor Jeremy Hendrick officiating. Burial will follow in the White and Allen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 18, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
