Kenny Edward Edmonds, 56, of Bassett VA passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Sovah Health Hospital in Martinsville VA. He was born July 13, 1965 in Galax VA.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Edmonds (Ed) and his sister Darlene Lundy.

He is survived by his Spouse, Dudley Parcell, his Mother, Gracie Lee Edmonds, Brother, Michael Edmonds both of Woodlawn VA. Sister and Brother in Law, Debra and Mike Frazier of Fancy Gap VA. A Private Celebration of Life will be held March 13, 2022 in Martinsville VA. A Graveside Service and Internment to follow will be held Saturday March 19, 2022 at 1:00pm At Forest Oak Cemetery (1995 Forest Oak Road, Woodlawn VA 24381). Pastor Michael Shockley will officiate.

Kenny's ability to be kind to his fellow man and every living thing in God's Creation was Extraordinary. Help us honor his memory by an extra act of kindness. Leave a big tip, feed a stray, give a coat to a homeless person, pay for someone's groceries, take the time to wonder at the beauty of a Humming Bird, a Big Eyed Doe, the intricate petals of your first Spring flowers, the warmth of the sand and the calming waves of the ocean in the Summer sun, the blazing colors of the Autumn foliage with a warm wood fire outside, the beauty of softly falling snowflakes as it blankets the earth with silence and purity in Winter.
