Kenneth G. Turner, 76, of Ashland City, TN passed away on June 6, 2012 while being with his family. Mr. Turner was born in Carroll County, VA to the late Carl and Icy Turner. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Jim and Shannon Turner of Sale Creek, TN, step grandson Matthew Dayton, brother and sister-in-law Mack and Rose Turner of Floyd, sisters Nancy Radford, of Nokesville, VA and Evelyn McCullough of San Antonio, TX. Nephews and nieces include Keith and Gary Radford, Emily and Elizabeth Montgomery, and Sharron McCullough. Mr. Turner was retired as a self-employed commercial HVAC mechanic. He had a reputation as a very hard working man that was able to build or repair anything. He proudly served in The U.S. Army in the 3rd Infantry Division. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Dustin Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Turner Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM until the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
