Kenneth Alan Toothaker, 67, of Meadows of Dan, VA, passed away in his sleep on Sunday, February 4, 2024.  Alan was a loving husband, son, father, grandpapa, pappy and friend to all.

Alan was a Christian with a strong faith in the Lord.  He was a nuclear technician and made many friends around the country at his various job sites and he considered them his away-from-home family. He was a creative and talented craftsman. He had a knack for getting the best bargains at yard sales. He was grandfather to 13 kids, and loved spending time with all of them. To know Alan was to love him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, W.D. and Bertha Toothaker.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Ginger Toothaker; son, Adaiah Toothaker (Aimee); daughter, Keturah Sosa (Tony); brothers, David Toothaker (Lynn), Richard Toothaker (Roberta); 7 granddaughters, 6 grandsons; and various extended family.

Services will be held Friday, February 16, 2024, at Stone Mountain Baptist Church of Laurel Fork, VA at 2:00 PM with Michael Faulkner officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.  The family requests that attendees wear bright colors as that is what Alan would have preferred.  There will be a reception following the service in the fellowship hall of the church. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
