Kenneth (Kenny) David Parnell, 55 of Galax, VA passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at his home.  He was born in Radford, Virginia on June 26, 1969.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Norman.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Ken and Debbie Parnell of Hillsville; brother, Terry Parnell of Daytona Beach, FL; step-brother, Barry Jessup of Hillsville; step-sisters, Tabitha Smith of Laurel Fork and Denean Jessup of Florence, SC; and nephews, Dillon Smith, Tré McLeod, Isaiah Smith, and Dre'den Bethea.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Stockner Cemetery in Fancy Gap with Pastor Zeb Hicks officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the missions out reach program at First Baptist Church in Hillsville. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
