Kenneth E. Gardner, 95 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the Salem VA Medical Center. Mr. Gardner was born in Carroll County to the late Robert Edgar and Edith Willard Gardner. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Marie Gardner; son, Doug Gardner; and brother, Rouldoph Gardner.

Survivors include his son, Mike Gardner; daughter, Dianne Gardner; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Gladesboro Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor JoAnn Bunn officiating. Burial will follow in the Gladesboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
