Kenneth (Corky) Fray Ferguson, 89, of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Wheatland Retirement Center. Mr. Ferguson was born in Ohio to the late John Tomas Ferguson and Annie Fray Ferguson. Survivors include his wife, Inez E. Ferguson; his children and their families: Bruce Ferguson and wife, Theresa Ferguson and sons, Jason and Sean; Larry Ferguson and wife, Linda Ferguson and children, Scott, Merideth, and Lindsay; Joann Easter and husband, Robert Perry Easter and their sons, Shannon and Kenneth; Elaine Katz and husband Bob and daughter Haley; Thomas Ferguson and children, Michael and Elizabeth; and Marian Colbert and husband, James and children, Brett, Chelsea, and Annica; sister, Demaris Lyons; sisters-in-law, Caroline Rokos and Sister Louis Mary Passeri; and thirteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady with Jerry Keagan officiating. Burial will follow in Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
