Kem Lee
Marshall
May 31, 1952 – May 27, 2022
Mr. Kem Lee Marshall was born and lived most of his life in Hillsville, VA. In 1970 he married his wife Catherine D. Marshall and embarked on their life adventure. He joined the Army in 1974 and he and his family traveled the US and the World together. After leaving the military in 1986 with his wife and three children, they moved back home to Hillsville, VA, where he continued his travels around the US as an OTR truckdriver. As time passed his family grew adding daughter and son-in-law and daughters-in-law and grandchildren. Over all his service and travels what he would consider his greatest accomplishment was being a husband, father, and papa to his family. He was a man who believed and worshiped God. Each morning he began his day quoting part of this verse to his wife "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice an be glad in it." Psalm 118:24. This verse is a perfect description of him as a man. No matter the circumstances, distance, or boundary he rejoiced in his life and gave God all the glory. Husband, Father, Papa, God Bless Praise God, I love you.
Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, Dennie W. and Sadie Hawks Marshall.
