Kathy M. Cruise, 59, of Galax, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Ms. Cruise was born in Carroll County, Virginia on October 25, 1952. She was preceded in death by her father, Foy Wise Cruise, and brother, Clyde Cruise. Survivors include special friend, Gary Parks; mother, Ethel Cruise of the home; siblings and spouses, Elwood and Carol Cruise of Hillsville, Marie and James Perry of Galax, Bonnie and Virgil Quesenberry of Woodlawn, and Patsy and Richard Martin of Hillsville. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Wendell Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Isaac Banks Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
