Kathleen B. Sutphin, 91 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows.  Mrs. Sutphin was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Thomas Franklin and Clara Belle Fariss Bowman.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Douglas Sutphin; and siblings, Garner Bowman, Mason Bowman, Lowell Bowman, Lacy Bowman, and Marie Stevens.

Survivors include her children, Jan Puckett (Dan) and Doug Sutphin (Karen); five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Elder Gleason Worrell officiating.  Burial will follow in the Worrell Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
