Junior (J.B.) Lineberry, age 89 of Hillsville, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, November 11, 2022 at his home. J.B. was born in Hillsville, Va. To the late Lloyd and Ida Faye Easter Lineberry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Lawrence Lineberry, five sisters, Dorthy Dudley, Ima Akers, and three baby sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Myrtle Wright Lineberry of the home: one son, David (Missy) Lineberry of Hereford, Arizona: five daughters, Karen (Gaylon) Goad of Hillsville, Sandy (Woody) Lineberry of Hillsville, Charlene (Jackson) Hayes of Hillsville, Marissa Lineberry of Hillsville, Regina (Tim) Beasley of Hillsville, fifteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and one brother, Curtis Lineberry. He leaves behind many more relatives and friends. Special great granddaughter, Ella Sky.

J.B. attended Indian Valley Church of God. He was a minister and during his ministry pastored several churches, started missions, held tent revivals, had nursing home and prison ministries and a radio ministry for 47 years.

J.B. served in the Army. He was an auctioneer and loved buying and selling bargains. He had his own business as a drywall contractor for many years. J.B. loved being outdoors and was always looking for another adventure. He loved to travel and enjoyed vacations with his family. He was a wonderful husband, Dad, papa, and Great Grandpa. He will be greatly missed by his family.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday November 16, 2022 at 11:00 A.M at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady chapel with Pastors Kenneth Poston and Mike Bond officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday November 15, 2022 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 6:00 P.M till 8:00 P.M. Military Rites will be conducted by Hillsville V.F.W Post 1115.
