Obituary

June F. Sparks, 80 of Willis, passed away on December 23, 2023.  Mrs. Sparks was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Kenneth and Lila Mae Moore Marshall.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jim Sparks; and brother, Joseph Marshall.

Survivors include her children, Dorcas Goad, Trish and Don Osborne, Leonard and Janella Goad, Jr., and Melissa and Vaughn Horne; grandchildren, Ashley and Travis Combs, Kristen and Andrew Kravet, Elizabeth and Aaron Peake, Elaina Sutphin and Blayze, Lauren and Brandon Huff, Courtney Goad, Breanna and Nate Dominy, Samantha and Dustin Long, Aaron and Chelsie Osborne, Zach Branscome and Haley; and great-grandchildren, Madison, Grizzly, Samson, Emersyn, Branson, Eden, and Elias.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 10:30 AM with Bro. Leonard Goad, Jr. and Bro. Kenneth Poston officiating.  Burial will follow in the Southwest Veterans Cemetery in Dublin at 1:00 PM.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM prior to the funeral service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Smoky Mountain Children's Home 449 McCarn Circle, Sevierville, TN 37862 to honor her love for children.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
