June Mary Singleton, 83 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Trinity Mission of Hillsville. Mrs. Singleton was born in Maryland to the late William Lewis and Anna Barstow Primrose. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Singleton. She is survived by her sons Thomas Graham Callahan of Daytona Beach, FL and Edwin Graham Callahan of Fancy Gap; daughter Patricia Callahan Bryant of Jacksonville, FL; brother James Primrose of Pasandena, MD; sisters Paula Wilt of Columbus, OH, Francis Lepkowicz of Tampa, FL and Anne Rasnake of Portland, Organ; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 1:00 PM at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Charles Brickner officiating. Burial will follow in Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Singleton will lie in state at St. Joseph Catholic Church one hour prior to the funeral mass. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Wednedsay, November 19, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Father Brickner will have a prayer service at the funeral home on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM.
