June C. Miller, 83 of Woodlawn, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Miller was born in West Virginia to the late Roy and Ruth Anderson Snell. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Miller; brothers, Eddie Snell, Wayne Snell, and Robert Snell; and sisters, Yvonne Hurley and Diana Murphy.

June was a devoted Christian and loved going to church at Dalton Hill Christian Church. She was a wonderful mother and wife and loved her family dearly.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Theresa Lester and Thurman of Big Rock, VA, Barbara Hogston Halbert and Anthony of Huntersville, NC, and Robert Allen Miller and Sandra of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Chet Hogston (Beth), Sheena Knight (Chris), Clay Hogston (Cristin Paschal), Xanadu Halbert (Jeremy Murrows) and Kirsten Miller; sister, Janet Blankenship; and brothers, Ronnie Snell, Richard Snell, Michael Snell, Jimmy Snell, David Snell, G.C. Snell, and Hassell Snell.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Dalton Hill Christian Church with Brother Harold Goins officiating. Burial will follow in River Hill Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Dalton Hill Christian Church on Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Flowers are appreciated; however, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dalton Hill Christian Church or to River Hill Christian Church Cemetery. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
