Judith E. Duncan, 70, of Allisonia, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 to meet her Lord and Savior. Mrs. Duncan was born in Wythe County to the late Clinton and Lillian Hudson Edwards.

Mrs. Duncan was a graduate of Virginia Tech and then later received her master degree from Radford University. She taught for Carroll County Public Schools for thirty plus years. Judith was an avid reader and writer. She loved her Christian faith, her dogs, and she loved to garden.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Duncan of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Alicia and Charles Walter Lane of Siloam, NC; son, Andy Duncan of Allisonia; sister, Sue Frazier of Poplar Camp; grandchildren, Olivia Shay Lane, Charles Dalton Lane, Mason Drew Duncan, and Miranda E. Keene; and great-granddaughter, Emma B. Keene.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Poplar Camp Church of God of Prophecy at 2:00 PM with Pastor Robert L. Broach officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
