Juanita Rotenizer Harmon of Asheboro, NC went to be with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Psalms 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints." She closed her eyes on this planet and opened her eyes in Heaven. Mrs. Harmon was born in Austinville, Virginia to the late Royal and Dora Beasley Rotenizer, the youngest and "baby" of twelve children and the "last surviving family member". She was greeted in Heaven by her Dad and Mom and all of her brothers and sisters. She loved the Rotenizer family and they loved her. Juanita married Mr. Leonard Harmon and they had 3 children, Deborah, Janet, and Roger. She loved her own family and they loved her. She was saved at a young age at the Pine Grove Primitive Baptist Church and loved the Lord and was faithful to Him. Some of Juanita's favorite Bible verses were: John 1:12, John 3:16, John 6:37, Romans 10:9 and 10:13. Survivors include her loving and faithful husband, Leonard E. Harmon of Asheboro; daughters, Mrs. Deborah Cheek and husband, Lewis of Randleman, NC and Janet Harmon of Asheboro, NC; and son, Roger Harmon of Asheboro. She is also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Dr. Schultz and his office, Randolph Hospital, and Moses Cone Hospital and all their staff for all their wonderful help with Juanita. The family also wishes to thank Mr. Jack and Grace Lemonds for all their help. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Elder Ronald Bowman and Elder Tim McGrady officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday one hour prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.
