Joy Lee Surratt, 87 of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at her home. Mrs. Surratt was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late John Floyd and Rosa Ellen Lawson McGlothin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Fred Surratt; brothers, Roy McGlothin and John McGlothin; and sister, Maxine Akers.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James David and Laura Mae Surratt; grandsons, James Walter Surratt and Verlin Dean Hall; granddaughter, Jessica Lee Surratt; and several other family members.

There will be no services at this time. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
