Josephine "Maxie" Webb, 86, of Roanoke, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Springtree Health and Rehab in Roanoke. Mrs. Webb was born in Carroll County to the late Forest and Clyde Largen Dalton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Vonnie Olin Webb. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Vonnie Olin Webb, Jr., Michael and Linda Webb, and Terry Alan and Yvonne Webb all of Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Benny Webster of Montvale, VA; sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and W.C. Lyon of Hillsville; ten grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren. Graveside services with burial following will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the John P. Webb Cemetery with Pastor Amanda Moore officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Sunday, October 5, 2014 from 1:00 until 2:30 PM prior to the graveside service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
