Josephine Caviness Walls, 88 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mrs. Walls was born in Carroll County on July 23, 1933. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rafus Walls and parents, Albert J. and Leota Spence Caviness.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Gail and Michael P. Griffin, Tex A. and Peggy Walls, and Tim M. and Linda Walls; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
