Joseph "Joe" Duane Mabry, 19, of Hillsville, passed away at UVA Medical Center on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Joe was born in Wythe County on October 1, 1992. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Mabry; maternal grandfather, Tom Winesett; and paternal grandparents, James and Reggie Mabry. Survivors include his mother and father, Tammy and Danny Dalton of Hillsville; brothers, Shaune Mabry of Woodlawn, James Mabry of Hillsville, and Daniel Dalton of Pulaski; sister, Autumn Stanley of Hillsville; maternal grandmother and grandfather, Annette O'Neal and Donnie Franklin both of Kentucky; paternal grandparents, Glenn Lee and Shirley Dalton of Hillsville; and best friend, Trinity Dalton of Hillsville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Donnie Hooker officiating. Burial will follow in the Bunts Cemetery on Frazier Hollow Road. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family in Joe's honor 858 Whitetown Road, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
