Joseph (Joe) Ray Chappell, 33 of Cana, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Mr. Chappell was born in Winston Salem, NC on October 3, 1981. Survivors include his wife, Kesha L. Chappell; children, Christian Chappell, Jalynn Chappell, Kaden Chappell, Justin Chappell, and Jackson Chappell; step daughter, Kadance Evans; sister, Jill Combs of Dobson; PopPaw Chappell and Grandmaw Tuttle; best friends, Chris and Melissa Mack and Zack Davis; and parents, Cecil and Cindy Chappell of Cana. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 3:30 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Ray Hutson. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:30 until 3:30 prior to the memorial service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
