Joseph Anthony Ardito, 74 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2007 at his residence. He is survived by his wife Ruth Ardito of the home; son Joseph P. Ardito of Hillsville; daughter & son-in-law Toni M. & Bruce Fortin of Wilson, NC; one sister Cookie Valentino of Flushing, NY; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 9:00 AM at the Holy Angel Roman Catholic Church in Mount Airy, NC with Father Eric Kowalski officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Tuesday night and Wednesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM each night.
