Jordan Blake Melton, 28 of Hillsville and formerly of Laurel Fork, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at his home.  Jordan was born in Radford, Virginia on August 30, 1992. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Peggy Pender Puckett; step-mother, Chrissy Jones Melton; and aunt, Lisha Trivette.

Jordan had a beautiful smile and a warm hug for everybody that he knew. He was a loving father, husband, brother and son. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Chelsea Melton; daughters, Maci Fay Melton and Aubrie Paige Melton; father, Michael Wayne Melton; mother, Dana Melton Puckett (Eric Pothast); step-father, Jeffrey Puckett; siblings, Madison Paige Puckett and G. Puckett; grandparents, Winston and Oleta Puckett, Cindy Dalton, and Roger Ogle; great-grandparents, Wayman and Mae Dalton; uncles and aunts, Jonathan and Tonian Puckett, Stephen and Kristen Puckett, and Randy Ogle; special cousins, Natalie and Laura Puckett and Nikki Ogle; and many other loved ones.

There will be a celebration of life service on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Gospel Chapel Church in Laurel Fork at 3:00 PM with Pastors Stephen Puckett and Randy McDaniel officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, March 20 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jordan's name to Mount Rogers Community Services – Youth and Family Services by visiting https://www.mountrogers.org/donate/ and entering his name in the name section of the donation form.
