Johnny Hugh Holshouser, 69 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Holshouser was born in Portsmouth, Virginia to the late Hugh and Helen Smoot Holshouser. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ann Easter.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Holshouser; children, Brian Holshouser (Amy Goad) and Beverly Walls; grandchildren, Kelsey McGuire and husband, J.C. and Bolen Holshouser; step-grandson, Brandon Brazile; and great-grandchildren, Greycen McGuire, Ray Lynn McGuire, and one on the way.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Burial will follow in the Felts Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:30 until 1:30 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
