Johnnie F. Tucker, 59 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.  Mr. Tucker was born in Tennessee on June 20, 1963. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Frances Lannom; step-son, Denny Mewes; and father-in-law, Bob Allison.

Survivors include his wife, Becky Tucker; sister, Stephanie Cherry (Charles); friends by chance and brothers by choice, Randy White; mother-in-law, Ruby Allison; sister-in-law, Dawn Carico (Doug); brother-in-law, Bill Lintecum (Pam); grandchildren, Rody Mewes and Harlie Mewes; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Shiloh United Methodist Church at 4:00 PM with Pastor Dina Clower and Pastor Ray Bolen officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel P.O. Box 145 Hillsville, VA 24343 to help the family with the cost of services. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
