John Daniel Yoder, 75 of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Northern Regional Hospital. Mr. Yoder was born in Goshen, Indiana to the late Lee and Rosa Hufford Yoder.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Yoder of Hillsville; children, Cheryl and Mark Barlow of Salisbury, NC and Paul and Wendy Yoder of Church Hill, TN; step-children, Scott and Sheila Allen of Bassett and Michele Allen of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Abigail Yoder and Emily Grace; step-grandchildren, Amber, Dillon and Augustina; great-grandson, Mason Lee; and siblings, Phyllis Brovont, Dean Yoder, Tom Yoder, and Joe Yoder.

John was a faithful member of Cliffview Church of God for over 38 years. He served in many ways, including Sunday School Superintendent. John was also a career truck driver for 54 years driving an estimated 6 millions miles.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Cliffview Church of God at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jackie Poe and Deacon Jeff Brovont officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardner Memorial Cemetery in Hillsville. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
