John W. "Bill" Crockett, 75, of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Trinity Mission and Rehab in Hillsville. Mr. Crockett was born in Carroll County to the late Herman John and Heath King Crockett. Mr. Crockett is survived by his son Aaron William Crockett of Hillsville, several cousins and many special friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Shiloh United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM with Bishop Leon Goad officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
