John E. Quesenberry, 80 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mr. Quesenberry was born in Carroll County to the late James Floyd and Leora Surratt Quesenberry. He is survived by his sisters & brother-in-law Effie Gowder of Sumerville, SC and Joline & Marvin Hull of Hendersonville, NC; brother Randolph Quesenberry of Hillsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 4:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. David Bays officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Vine Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM.
