John Franklin Neal, 33, of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at his home. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ruth Viers; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Carrie Neal. Survivors include, mother of his children, Jennifer Felts, of the home; two sons, Levi Neal and Matthew Neal both of Hillsville father, Charles Franklin Neal; mother, Linda Viers Way; maternal grandfather, Harold C. Viers of Ohio; three sisters, Jody Lynn Lintecum of Hillsville, Rachel Marie Moser of Galax, and Heather Leigh Martin of Fancy Gap. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Chip Neely officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 one hour prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
