John Marshall "Slick" Vaughn, 61 of Dugspur, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021. Mr. Vaughn was born in Ohio on January 26, 1960. He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Vaughn.

Survivors include his daughters, Cary Pack and special friend, Jarvas Brown, Laurie Naff (Daniel), and Mindy Pedrero (Garrett); mother, Virginia Vaughn; siblings, Danny Vaughn (Dixie), Rose Dalton (Basiel), Stevie Vaughn, and Connie Martin (Mike); eleven grandchildren, Phillip and Laura Pack, Jacob Pack and Krista, Brady Pack, Elijah Pack, Luke Naff, Liam Naff, Landry Naff, Lilah Naff, Lawson Naff, Bryce Pedrero, and Sureigh Pedrero; four great-grandchildren, Bentley Pack, Kinsley Pack, Jonah Pack, and Caden Pack; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Pleasant View Church on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jimmy Young, Pastor Ricky Alexander, and Mr. Daniel Naff officiating. The family will be leaving Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Friday at 10:00 to go to the church for services at 11:00 AM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
