John Michael Hill, 60, of Ararat, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Hill was born in Carroll County to the late Morris and Gladys Stoneman Hill. He is survived by his sons Jacob Matthew Graham Hill of Ararat and Jordan Marshall Hill of Hillsville; sister Angelia Hill of Carroll County; and special friend Stevie DePrisco of Hillsville.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Wendell Horton officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 1:00 PM until service time.
