John Al Hash, Sr., 81 of Austinville, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at his home. Mr. Hash was born in Tazewell, Virginia to the late Walter Whitten and Missouri Sue Brown Hash. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings, "Snook" Hash, Lillian Hopkins, Della Hinkley, Harmon Hash, Ralph Hash, and Sam Murray; and grandson, Byron Phipps.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Hash; children and spouses, Karen Phipps and Tony, "Buddy" Hash and Connie, "Dixie" Vaughn and Danny, Wally Hash and Becky, Paul Hash and Amy, Paula Zumbro and John, "Spook" Hash and Trish, and Kimberly Phillips; sister, Gloria Lowe; brother and sister-in-law, Steve Hash and Tammie; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
