John Joseph Futchko, 78, of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem. Mr. Futchko was born in Ohio to the late John Joseph and Eleanor Josephine Straniko Futchko. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Steven Futchko and a grandchild.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Futchko of the home; children, Joseph Futchko of Ohio, John Futchko of Texas, Diana Westmoreland of Georgia, and Alex McAninch of Ohio; brother, Edward Futchko of Ohio; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

There will be no services at this time. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
