John David Biggs, 76 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Carrington Place in Wytheville.  Mr. Biggs was born in Montgomery County, Virginia to the late Isaac William Biggs and Inis Deliah Scaggs Biggs.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Laura Jean Biggs; son: Russell Biggs; sister, Eunice Biggs Schewsberry; and brothers, Alfred Biggs, Douglas William Biggs, and Clarence Biggs.

Survivors include his brother-in-law, Isaac A. Sayers; sister-in-law, Jessica L. Sayers; nephews, Jasper N. Mitchell, Keith Schewsberry and Raymond Schewsberry; and niece Betty Schewsberry.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Full Gospel Holiness Church Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dale Akers, Pastor Jeff Pickett; and Brother Doug Goad officiating.  The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 6:00 until 7:30 PM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
