• Joey Allen Dalton, Sr. 46 of Laurel Fork, passed away on March 6, 2022. Mr. Dalton was born in Galax, Virginia on May 5, 1975.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Donald and Karlene Dalton; children, Margaret Dalton, Joey Dalton, Jr. and Destiny Dalton; sister, Christina Hawks; brother, Mark Dalton; half-sisters, Kassandra Dalton and Trudy Dalton; step-sisters, Jennifer McGrogan, Stephanie Bates, Kathryn Shockley, Kristie Lineberry, and Rebecca Nester; and six grandchildren, Adelyne Collins, Sunny Collins, Peyton Hayes, Zane Heath, Teigen Dalton, and Jaida Hicks.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Stone Mountain Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor Greg Lamb officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
