JoAnn Teresa Gutenberger, 60, of Laurel Fork, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Ms. Gutenberger was born in Pennsylvania to the late John Joseph and Iva Marie Marshall Pistory. Survivors include her sons, William E. Pistory of Hillsville and Kevin M. Pistory of Barren Springs; sister, Rosemary Zender of Pennsylvania; and six grandchildren, Noah Pistory, Kaleb Pistory, Hadden Pistory, Ethan Pistory, Charity Pistory, and Daniel Pistory. A graveside service with burial following will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the Marshall Family Cemetery at 12:00 PM with Rev. Nathan Montgomery officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Wednesday from 11:00 until 12:00 prior to the graveside service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
